Every TREkX pod is designed to be tough, practical, and genuinely fit for outdoor use.

Each unit is built by hand using a carefully controlled process focused on durability, accuracy, and long-term reliability — not speed or volume.

Precision-Cut Components

 

All panels begin as FSC-approved, high-strength birch plywood.

 

Each component is precision-machined, then individually inspected to ensure consistent fit, clean edges, and exact tolerances before assembly.

Strengthened with Aluminium

 

 

Critical areas are reinforced using lightweight aluminium, applied to edges, rails, and structural elements.

This increases rigidity and impact resistance while keeping overall weight to a minimum — essential for vehicle-based use.

Hand Assembled

 

Every TREkX unit is assembled by hand to ensure proper alignment, smooth operation, and accurate tolerances throughout.

We use strong tongue-and-groove joinery, reducing reliance on mechanical fixings and creating a structure that remains solid over time.

TREkXShield Protective Coating


Once assembled, each pod is finished with TREkXShield, our proprietary rugged protective coating.


TREkXShield provides:


  • A tough, textured surface
  • Moisture and weather resistance
  • Scratch and impact protection
  • A clean, modern finish



This coating was chosen specifically for products used in vehicles, outdoors, on beaches, and at campsites, where durability and longevity matter.

Final Testing & Quality Checks


Every completed unit undergoes a full inspection before leaving the workshop, including:


  • Movement checks (slide-outs, handles, wheels, mechanisms)
  • Surface and finish inspection
  • Structural alignment verification
  • Overall durability assessment

Only units that meet our standards are approved for delivery.

Safety is designed in from the start.

Beyond rounded edges and user-friendly ergonomics, our products incorporate real safety systems where required, including gas venting and electrical isolation (where applicable).
